Like yes, the voters are 1000% to blame for the 2024 elections and everything that is happening right now....
I get that's an uncomfortable truth for low-intelligence people but π€·ββοΈ
.....I refuse to believe this person is this fucking stupid....
05.03.2026 18:12 β π 12 π 0 π¬ 5 π 0Yep they just donβt want a runoff
05.03.2026 18:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Lmfao Oh this is going to be so, so fun.....
05.03.2026 17:51 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0I wish people would focus more of their energy on featuring the candidate's they liked as opposed to shitting on the one's they didn't π€·ββοΈ

I hear you. I guess my bigger point is, people don't like:
Newsom, Shapiro, Kamala, Gallego, etc.
I get that people have their own reasoning. Heck, I do on some of them! It just feels like "I'd never vote for xyz candidate" or "xyz candidate sucks" is just so unhelpful.
Going to let a few of my PA folks chime in: @nickfield.bsky.social @natyappgh.bsky.social @stephenjcaruso.bsky.social @santelli.bsky.social
05.03.2026 16:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Keeping in mind PA was about .5% to the right of the nation in 2024, this feels about right/pretty good. Plus undecided are likely to go our way. But I hear you.

I'll feel better about MI once we get the primary done and things start to settle there.
It's the Governor's races in both of those states that keep me up at night

I am just going to be intrigued to see how this all plays out in say, a decade.
AIPAC is truly putting themselves in a corner with all of this. Everyday, run of the mill Dems, myself included, have been radicalized to hate anything that AIPAC touches.
lol I think in a 20-point lead, I'll disregard it lol ππ
05.03.2026 15:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The voters themselves caused like 90% of our current problems but for many people that's a really uncomfortable truth. It's just easier to blame others π€·ββοΈ
05.03.2026 15:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Yea, this is probably the place where you and I disagree and that's ok :) I say often good people disagree all the time.
I'm pretty firmly of the belief the anger is misdirected. I think people are mad at about Trump, about Covid, and are misdirecting that anger at Dem party leadership.
.....literally what did they think would happen? lol
05.03.2026 15:04 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
My general view is, there is literally never going to be a candidate I'm going to agree on everything.
And literally EVERY Democrat in EVERY race is better than a Republican. Every time!
The challenge is, for many IMHO, anything short of perfection isn't enough π€·ββοΈ
I think there's a few things at play:
- 24/7 news cycle & media framing
- Social media
- Our current coalition
Again, primaries are SUPER healthy. But only if everyone agrees ahead of time, in the end, we're going to come together for the binary choice. That's the part where our side struggles.
I'd vote for, donate to, etc. either of them if they were the nominee for sure.
05.03.2026 14:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Like, if I were guaranteed that people would get onboard after the primary, I'd be way more excited. But it just seems people are determined to just shit on every option.
So many UGH NOT HIM/HER!
Again, this isn't directed at you. I think I just need a Snickers lol
I know this is mostly in jest but man....it's so frustrating to me that our side hasn't learned any lessons from 2016, 2020, or 2024.
It honestly makes me question if our big tent is sustainable. Not that I think Josh is the best candidate but is there anyone that even 80% on the left can agree on?
The #1 thing that caught my eye in this one.....
Generic Ballot in PA at Dem +7 ππ

@proptermalone.bsky.social this is the candidate
Sounds like a D-aligned Indy π€·ββοΈ

Itβs funny to me how many on here love to default to chalking up bad people on here to being bots.
