I hear you. I guess my bigger point is, people don't like:

Newsom, Shapiro, Kamala, Gallego, etc.

I get that people have their own reasoning. Heck, I do on some of them! It just feels like "I'd never vote for xyz candidate" or "xyz candidate sucks" is just so unhelpful.

Keeping in mind PA was about .5% to the right of the nation in 2024, this feels about right/pretty good. Plus undecided are likely to go our way. But I hear you.

I'll feel better about MI once we get the primary done and things start to settle there.

It's the Governor's races in both of those states that keep me up at night

AIPAC is truly putting themselves in a corner with all of this. Everyday, run of the mill Dems, myself included, have been radicalized to hate anything that AIPAC touches.

Yea, this is probably the place where you and I disagree and that's ok :) I say often good people disagree all the time.

I'm pretty firmly of the belief the anger is misdirected. I think people are mad at about Trump, about Covid, and are misdirecting that anger at Dem party leadership.

My general view is, there is literally never going to be a candidate I'm going to agree on everything.

And literally EVERY Democrat in EVERY race is better than a Republican. Every time!

The challenge is, for many IMHO, anything short of perfection isn't enough 🤷‍♂️

I think there's a few things at play:

- 24/7 news cycle & media framing

- Social media

- Our current coalition

Again, primaries are SUPER healthy. But only if everyone agrees ahead of time, in the end, we're going to come together for the binary choice. That's the part where our side struggles.

I'd vote for, donate to, etc. either of them if they were the nominee for sure.

Like, if I were guaranteed that people would get onboard after the primary, I'd be way more excited. But it just seems people are determined to just shit on every option.
