Tragedies like these require reflection and a refocusing of our efforts to ensure people in crisis have easy access to the tools and resources they need to make it through.

We need professionals who can see a mental health crisis starting and help direct people to those resources.

As a Retired Brigadier General and lifelong servant to our country, the shooting at Fort Stewart hits close to home. My prayers are with the soldiers, their families, and every member of the Fort Stewart community. I’m thankful for the swift response that prevented further harm.

I filmed and worked these cows by myself with the real purpose was to show my grandkids how to work the cows properly. It was so meaningful, I wanted to share it with you as well.

This life is a privilege. It was a privilege to serve our country as a solider and to then come home and start my cattle farm and continue to serve by providing food to the world as a cattle producer. I look forward to in Congress with a focus on our veterans and getting the Farm Bill passed.

It’s not often I agree with Marjorie Taylor Greene but she’s right: the Epstein files must be released. It’s disgraceful that the Speaker extended recess to dodge a vote. 1/2

We’ve recently had residents damaging their cars and tires and getting no response from CSX. One call to our Commissioner last week and today we have a sign indicating they will be making repairs soon. Leadership Matters!

I want to thank Polk County Commissioner Chuck Thaxton for his quick response to my call last week regarding railroad track crossing safety issues at the Grady Road, Rockmart/Cedartown crossing.
