One of the first spoons I carved. Having previously worked in a wholesale rose greenhouse I collected dried thorns in a tin can. 30 years later... started making use of them.

Control is only like 40gb! The problem isnt that we dont have the technology, its that we aren’t constrained by it

Like im you could add 20gb easy but hard drive value wise it seems like a good deal? Like i think Minecraft resource packs would hit 1gb per pack regularly

I havent fucked with bg3 mods but i sorta doubt much? Seems like most of the mods are pretty limited and aren’t overhaul mods reskinning the entire city etc

220gb if you want hdr because theres not any way to get hdr without the 4k files and I have like one of the only decent 1440p hdr monitors.

You might be able to delete the text files but that might give you problems with the launcher not sure. I think its normally like 150?

Have been playing aoe4 and its a lot of fun that will probably only stay installed for another 2 weeks because its 220 GB (!!) and thats just not worth the hard drive space to play it 5 hours every month for the next 6 months

In general I support anti-monopoly efforts but I do worry that if Steam ever lost its monopoly Gaben would stop funding the development of hypersonic ultraphysics just to get the crowbar swing motion perfect for HL3. Not sure if humanity can take that risk tbh.

I dont know how true it is and it feels like one of those things that sounds true but utterly divorced from reality but ive heard its partially due to aaa games concluding youre unlikely to reinstall and they want to keep you invested in their game by making it take up an 10% of your hd
