I am a palliative care doctor who is not opposed to AD. But enshrining in law a state-funded right to die, while not enshrine a similar right to the palliative care that might make life worth living, is so very wrong.

RFK Jr. has just removed every member of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
These members review vaccine data and make approval recommendations. This is completely horrifying and will likely delay vaccine approvals.
RFK Jr. must be removed from office IMMEDIATELY.
Save the date!

A faceless figure of a person surrounded by ribbons of different colours and white text showing aspects of work, and with like coloured sections forming two semi-circles around the person showing goals for work. Top title banner reads " Key intersecting tensions for end of life doulas " Bottom centre circle reads " EOLDs "
Opportunities for self-awareness, reflection and honest evaluation are always important - this goes for end of life doulas, too. How we work with opportunities and realities in the workplace, in tandem with our highest goals for work are shown in this graphic.

It was amazing to see our annual gathering come to life this week. So very grateful to call bringing this wonderful community of doulas together my job. We included a memorial for a dear friend and colleague, making it a 3 day event with many of us staying together on site. Truly something special π
