can we not rethink: if you are taking advice, can you create systems which ensure that they are going to give us as independent advice as possible? see also: bmj.com/content/bmj/...

I think these drugs do have a role. But when, where, why, adverse effects, long term use - all raise serious questions. We need INDEPENDENT advice about these. I think our systems of obtaining advice should actively avoid incurring avoidable bias/
