I'm getting much better at pencil down time, during the week I stop drawing at 7pm right as my partner gets home so we can eat and spend a bit of time together,

I think I'll have a go at blocking Wednesday out for personal art stuff! It'll also let me get some Patreon content done! (Fanart etc!)

Yeah I feel that. I think I need to start taking maybe Wednesdays to do personal art (Or do a half work-half personal day), just some time in the week where I'm right in the middle of art-mode rather than at the end of it!

When do you guys tend to do your personal art? Or do you just let yourself go for it when the feeling arises?

I often feel very guilty if I draw for myself in the week (I wanna' reiterate that NO customer has EVER made me feel that way. It's all in my head 😅 OCD really is that hard to push past!)

Does anyone else really struggle to draw on the weekend?

I work on commissions Mon - Fri and then on weekends, even though I feel like it, I really just can't focus on sitting down and doing art
I have so much I wanna' do but I just can't draw on my days off 😩 (Unless I'm doing some overtime)

Can any of my UK trans folk recommend a good, breathable binder to me? Also that isn't ridiculously expensive 🥺

I'm currently using a mens shapware tank that I saw on reels and just folded it up on itself to make it tighter but you can imagine it's not very comfortable 🥴

I really don't want to broadcast what's going on, but if this puts me out of commission for a little I'll at least explain the situation to anyone customer it effects.

I'm going to do my best today! It's just so hard to focus on like, getting started.

I thought I was going to be okay after yesterday's news, but I've woken up today and I can feel it like a weighted blanket. Only the opposite of comforting.

Please bare with me, this may well be a very difficult next few weeks for us. Aside from replying to customers, and applications for my next commission opening (Aug 1st!), I may not be too responsive on here.

I'm just going to focus on work and keeping things as normal as possible.

Without getting too into it right now, I had some pretty devastating news earlier today.

But tonight in my Stream I had so many fun games, people came to hang out and chat, and despite everything, I managed to have a good evening 🥺

Now its just time to take things day by day and hope for the best.

Although he cried half the night, Jacket seems to feel miles better this morning! He woke up with a start and hopped right up onto the couch after I'd carried him downstairs.

He's gone back into the vets today to make sure everything still looks good. But I'm glad to see him feeling himself again!

My poor baby hasn't stopped crying since we got home 🥺

He's in a bit of a k hole right now, but hopefully things will settle down and he'll start feeling better soon!

They'll be sending what they remove off for testing, but fingers crossed this is the last of it 😩

I'm not gonna' be able to do much art tomorrow since Jacket is having surgery in the morning, so here's another little sneeky peeky to tide y'all over!
