Details do change things since those are power multipliers, but as a rule of thumb there's no such thing as "too small".

More power to them if it gets them to seek verification and possible assistance with studying problems, though.

I find it funny that every time I visit the university library, there's always one or two books about neurodivergence in the section for books that were taken out of shelves, but not borrowed.

Actually relevant for some studies? Sure, but I'm 100% assuming self-diagnozing purposes when I see that.

I think "show, don't tell" specifically is an interesting one, since while it does originate from playwriting and applies more literally there, it's often used to allude to the iceberg theory stuff in literary writing. (Which serves the same function, but is ultimately more abstract in practice)

Worth pointing out that this is more curiosity than concern, since I don't mind people blocking what is clearly a 18+ account.

Considering that I already got a few blocks as a result of using Granblue's hashtag when posting one of my writings, I wonder how many I'll get when I use a more popular franchise's one.

I feel like the process of "anxiety --> catharsis" has been an overall theme with my writings lately... which I'm not entirely sure how to feel about, but I'm happy that it results in something that's nice to read, at least ^_^;

No tunes for this one either, just exorcising the idea I had back when I wrote the OG piece.

My answer was obvious. I knelt down and hugged the minuscule patch of her cheek that I could.

A long, affectionate grumble from Zirsna's throat shook my whole being.

Zirsna's voice continued to echo inside my mind as the reality began to slowly dawn on me.

To my eternal surprise, it worked.

My skin and flesh was mended as the damage from magical overflow came undone. The end result was an arm that was as good as new. In fact, it might have even been better.

But I knew from the flow's feel that this wasn't magic.

I was about to object, I couldn't deny that I couldn't move my right arm one bit, or how charred it looked. But without magic it was--

"No. Heal your arm."

On her insistence, I brought my other hand to my ruined arm. I knew the basics of healing, and applied my imaginary flow accordingly. (8/11)

She had to carve up a good amount of ground beneath my back to be able a pick up the little piece of grain that I was up to her face. The intimidating presence of her massive eye softened as I recognized a familiar relief in them.

I didn't understand, and the sudden panic that flared up didn't help. My magic was gone. It should have been impossible to--

"It's no magic."

It was Zirsna who took control of this unfamiliar situation. My body tensed up as she crouched down and a single claw began to descend upon me. (6/11)

I heard a voice inside my own mind that was not my own, yet which possessed such overpowering clarity that it could not originate from within. It was a voice that I knew.

The wandering eyes up in the heavens had turned to gaze down.

I couldn't help but wonder whether I, too, had looked so divine in her eyes when the curse had been at its apex. But it was a thought that dispersed quickly, as it couldn't have been true.

No worry about being unable to feel my right arm, no fear over being crushed if my love adjusted her foot, no concern over how to fix this, or contemplation over whether we even should.

I simply laid back and let my eyes rest upon her colossal form.

It's important to have kinks that teeter tantalizingly close to the edge of existential terror.

Now, granted, the fact that I find live-action/real stuff consistently unappealing would imply to me that the quote doesn't quite fully apply in my case, but it's ultimately impossible to fully prove due to... well, impossibility.

But it's a funny idea to think about, conceptually.

Y'know, this is a thought that has sometimes crossed my head post-revelation of being ace.

One of the things that confused me before was that despite of my romantic crushes having always been women, size in fiction has always had priority over gender in terms of sexual interest for me.
