I'll believe it when I see it, by campaigning for any sort of a return he is seen to turn his back on his 'passion'.

In my opinion, his angle is more likely to be that we did the wrong Brexit deal and if he had his way back in 2019-20 we'd be in those sunlit uplands now; so vote for me...

Never.

His backers want the EU weakened and would not want the UK back in it.

Or that you'd call a number and then after the 'pips' stopped (when you were meant to insert money) that there were about 1-2 seconds of 'free' time when the microphones were live.

Yet again, party before country which is why we are in this mess (albeit a different party at the time)

Well, if I was GenZ that group of social misfits would certainly convince me that the Tories were the party for me...

To be fair to them, they look pretty similar to William Hague in 1977... So maybe the Tories aren't changing that much?

Suddenly it's not quite so appealing.

Does the halving gravity mean I don't need to worry about my weight?

Also, is the working week reduced to four days?

I agree with you on *some* reform voters.

There will be others who are just exhausted by the failings of the other parties. This, second, group needs to be reached out to. They need to be made (and kept) aware of how rotten, corrupt and inept this party, and this man, are.

Left of centre Americans come to the UK.

I suspect it's mostly right of centre UK people that go to Dubai (and I question whether they go to Dubai for safety or tax/other reasons.)

I think it's political.

I generally skip lunch on trips since a heavy lunch in a hot climate often leads to a sleepy afternoon...

I have one of the smaller zero electric bikes that I use for short journeys, frankly if I'm riding around a town I don't want to add to the noise level.

Very conflicted on engine noise, while an exhaust note adds to the rider's experience it also detracts from others' experience.

Tricky!

1975 moped, puch grand Prix in Orange.

I found a picture of my moped from a couple of years back when I sold it.

It looks a bit neglected, mostly because it was left in a barn for 40 something years.

How lucky my generation was to have things like that to ride.

I didn't ride a restricted moped when I was 16, they had pedals and did around 45-50mph (or 60+ when discussed).

I train CBT occasionally, and rode one for the first time with this role. I can't imagine wanting to ride one of those on the road, dangerously slow on hills and in traffic (IMO).

Too true, the first time I rode one (I had bought it on eBay and was collecting it) as I braked for the first junction I was suddenly being pushed onto the wrong side of the road by the sidecar!

I keep thinking about this.

All those anti-brexit demonstrations, what did they achieve apart from making us feel better?

Then a few violent demonstrations about immigrants in hotels and the government reacts to appease them (it seems).

It looks as if peaceful protest is of limited impact.

Very interesting piece, thanks.

One of the things that keeps me using my Garmin XT is how it responds to a gloved finger. Seems much better than a phone.

Went to look at the BBC news website to read about Peter Mandelson. No space due to reporting on Charlie Kirk.

Is it just me, or is UK media response to Charlie Kirk completely out of step with his relevance to UK?
