People really need to stop framing it is a question of getting more evidence. I mean, sure, that too. But we know. We all know. The president of the United States raped children. Say that. When they get mad at you for saying it, say it again and treat them like an idiot for pretending they doubt it.

I didn't say to believe in the U.S. I said believe in US, the plural pronoun.

But if they can get you to think they are, you become disheartened. That's exactly what they want. Believe in you and in US.

They aren't in the minority, though. The current administration wants us to think they are, but we are actually the majority. Trump was elected with incredibly low voter turnout. I crunched the numbers a while ago, and something like 30% of registered voters voted for him. They are NOT the majority.

There is a very small grocery store here called Local Harvest. They have been collecting donations that they turn into written vouchers, placed by the checkout. Anyone can use them if they need them. ❤️

This week, I submitted a paper to a conference, taught, tried desperately to catch up with grading, attended the opening homecoming event, agreed to a couple of service duties, ate well, and walked the doggo every day. This weekend: desperate attempt to finish grading before midterm grades are due.
