In a crowded field, RTB is arguably the most disastrous policy of the last 50 years. Rather than democratising homeownership, many former council homes are now rental assets for private landlords. If we are serious about addressing the housing crisis then RTB must be abolished, not reformed.

Some rare good news for trans people β the transphobic amendment to the Data Bill was defeated by a large margin. It would have forced trans people to out themselves virtually daily, putting people's safety and dignity at risk, so it's great to see MPs reject it comprehensively.

The vote share of the two biggest parties has been falling steadily for decades.
Recent polling shows it could fall below 50%. And yet we still have a voting system designed to silence all other voices.
It's time for a system update. It's time for PR.

More privatised bus madness in Glasgow. Two busses with the same number (4) run by different companies, going totally different places but sharing a bus spot stop.
Mass confusion and hugely disruptive if you get on the wrong route.
Why canβt we get the most basic things right?
