The Micro Center in Anaheim has a nice 3D walkthrough of their entire store. Pretty cool. Would be even cooler if you pick up actual items off shelves & drop them into you cart #microcenter #visualization

Agree humanities is more challenging than data science. However, if you can teach a student a workflow for scholarly humanities work then you can probably design a multi-agentic system to do it 90% as well.

As a former EIC I can tell you that academic publishing is broken. As an AI researcher I can tell you that agentic AI is accurately automating complete scientific workflows from experiment to paper. This ship has sailed. A new publishing model is needed. #academia #science #research #publishing

This 800XL had an interesting fault. The N,Y,U,6,7 keys were not working suggesting a problem with that column of the keyboard matrix (pin 10). Reflowing the connector did not work. Had to remove the connector & resolder. Also socketed the troubled mT RAM for easy removal later #atari #atari8bit

I can desolder and solder new sockets with no problem. Will take me an hour.
The mT RAM chips are unreliable and fail often. I will remove and replace them all.
Picked up this Atari 130XE at VCF SoCal last month. The seller informed me that it failed the RAM test. Indeed, it does. And it is full of the dreaded mT RAM chip soldered to the board. A fun soldering project for the weekend #atari #atari8bit #atari130xe
