What if the Labour government had taxed the super-rich and properly invested in councils, all of which have been punished under austerity over 15 years? Worthing Labour could have backed Indies/Greens budget amendments to support Creative and Vol/Community sectors, & equal beach access. Just saying.

I asked the Deputy Prime Minister if she would impose huge, remote unitary County Councils if that is against the wishes of local residents & how she can justify having County Councillors last elected in 2021, leading negotiations on the biggest shake-up of local government in the last half-century.
