Who doesn’t love a bit of new stationery for the start of a new year! Genuinely excited by having a new pencil case. It’s like I’m kid all over again 😂
The Cowal Peninsular is pretty beautiful
A lovely walk round Hartington and a cheeky ice cream
I don’t write very often anymore, don’t really feel like have much to say these days. But as an academic year closes and a new one is on the horizon I thought why not.

A year ago I took a leap. I was interviewed to be an assistant head at another school in the trust, so working across two schools. I’m now permanently at my new school and will be deputy in September. And so much more has happened in between but I am still standing
Can anyone recommend/ suggest/ know of any book fair companies other than the obvious? Love that they give us money for more books but I am a bit sick of the regular celebrity ‘authors’ and lack of quality, diversity and inclusion. Thanks #primaryrocks
Reflection on today: knowing what to get right is one thing. But often the how is a whole other matter. And often that is a bigger and more improtant question as it’s the can mean success or failure. #primaryrocks
I ran school for 3 days this week as the head was on residential…I am exhausted but school, children and staff are all still standing so I am taking that as a win! 😂
