Glockaveli - Key Glock

Him Duncan is back with another album that punches far above its own weight. Key Glock somehow manages to make the same style he's been doing never get old, and his consistency is crazy. Wordplay, flows, and beat selection are once again the highlights here. 8/10

Honorable mentions:

Rowlet (Lunala) - sets up Decidueye snipes

Alolan Raichu EX - good when high energy cost is meta, won't be the case this season

Araquanid/Lana - maybe good when basics are meta, hard to slot in 20 card deck

Poison barb - enables poison attacks, bad rocky helmet otherwise

1. Rare candy

Don't think I need to explain why this is #1, but I think it's even more powerful than people give it credit for. Turn 2 rare candy is consistent enough that aggressive stage 2s like Meowscarada and Solgaleo are going to run the format, and be menaces while doing it.

2. Guzma

I think people are underrating how good Guzma is. It essentially acts as a more flexible red that can either remove cape to essentially do +20 against ALL pokemon (+30 for leaf cape), or remove helmet to ruin the opponent's math. Obviously doesn't replace Red, but still very powerful.

3. Solgaleo EX

This thing is a monster, this isn't just the best pokemon in the set, but it will probably be the BDIF. 2 for 120 is crazy efficiency, and being able to switch it in at any time adds consistency and options. Only reason its not #1 is because we also got 2 game-changing trainer cards.

4. Oricorio (Lightning)

Unfortunately Meow on candy is already pressuring people to use non-EXs, and Oricorio is getting 0 help from its electric friends who are all ass for some reason. When the right situation comes this guy will be a menace, but he'll still see some use as an EX wall for now.

5. Decidueye EX

Being able to snipe the bench is very powerful, and Decidueye can do it for colorless energy. Idk if it's going to be top meta like people are claiming, but this thing's versatility and game control is definitely gonna make it hard to escape from on ladder and in tourneys.

6. Leaf cape

Giant cape already exists so this tool isn't hugely impactful, but that extra 10 hp does change quite a few interactions. It helps that grass is looking very strong, and this will help make grass decks even more powerful. Unfortunately Guzma will be a very strong counter (spoiler).

7. Lillie

This is where the list starts getting pretty good, everything here on I think will be meta this season. I expect the format will consist of stage 2 pokemon trying to math eachother for 2hkos, and Lillie fits in perfectly being a strong heal card for stage 2s. Not op but will be used.

8. Crabominable EX

Speaking of Exeggutor, this is essentially a water version that gives control over damage to your opponent instead of God. While it is technically more consistent, Sabrina is a huge weakness for this card, as it resets its damage. Still, 80 for 1 on 160hp is too strong to ignore.
