I want to have a stat on limbs call 'monstrous'. The higher this value, the faster you lose threshold energy. This would be a pretty monstrous pair of legs.

Some cursed technology for your timeline. No actual blurring or PCB meshes present. Just a ray-plane intersection math and some POM for the depth effect + blending between pre-blurred and "clear" textures

The sparkles are caused by floating point differences between the two edges because the mismatch in vertcies between two sides of a polygon shell.

A fairly common issue I see with indy game posts, most notibly solo projects, is readabilty- the ability for the audience to translate or parse the visuals being shown.
This is a tricky issue as a solo devs are so used to seeing the individual parts they process the visuals with bias.

Results are not bad, but man do I hate trying to ink such thin lines. I like my lines chunky and backgrounds splatty.

I really wish games designers start to consider food and drink as a pool rather than a pill.
In other words, munching on food drains its health bar and adds to yours. Food and drink take time to fully consume, and you can hold it as you walk and casually munch, sip and set aside for later.
