We took a drive Sunday to the Bergstrom Waterfowl Complex located at the Mack State Wildlife Area near Black Creek. While we were there, we got to see the usual ducks and Canada geese, along with coots and an egret. Also spied an eagle's nest.

♿️Asylum Point accessibility note: the footbridge to the island that the lighthouse is on is wheelchair friendly. There is a small concrete slab landing on the other side but the ground beyond that is severely rutted at the moment. There are no other paved/accessible trails in the park.

We had a rare #TuesDate and got a chance to enjoy some early Spring weather before the ❄️ returned. We drove down to Asylum Point (Ben's favorite spot) and finally got a chance to try Bedrock Coffee Roasters. My lavender latte was amazing💜!
