Public Access kickstarter launches next week. My interview with @jasoncordova.bsky.social launches a week later. But here’s me questioning him about the Big Man!

In a campaign of Public Access I played in, a backyard party turned into a multidimensional trek to a desert populated with enormous scorpions and time made visible, but mostly I remember how the Keeper terrified all of us with Mean Teenagers on Bikes who made us feel like dorks.
Reminder that I've got an RPG work-in-progress going called Step Right Up (based on The Between). The setting: 1930s Dust Bowl Oklahoma. Players are performers in a traveling carnival, facing threats both supernatural and mundane.
There's an ashcan, for now:

don't forget to pre-order
i don't even care what
Out on the porch. 1:00 AM. Parade starts going by. Silent. The revelers throw confetti that turns to ash as soon as it hits my skin. Realize that it's made up of everyone who ever died on our block. I wave. They wave. I keep waving. So do they. Parades are so God damn boring.
I have not always been the best with money but relax, this bottle of wine wearing a cape cost UNDER $18
[slowly crumples up four pages of rules about the mechanical consequences of Neopets cannibalism]
I have played and run dozens of #ttrpg games over the last 40 years. This one really is my favorite. As player or GM. Emergent backstory as a resource mechanic. Players compelled to contribute to world-building in every scene. Mystery-solving unburdened by canonical solutions. It’s so fucking good.
I made Scorp Dice! For my game-loving younger brother's birthday. Very pleased with how they turned out.
(no scorpions were harmed in the creation of these, I carefully poke through pine bark to find their old molted exoskeletons) 🐡
/exactly/
well, what do you know, they finally got a laugh out of me
Taiwanese movies just hit different, y'know?

Hey, if you back this collection of Trophy scenarios, then one of the dangerous frogs in my incursion, Pentah's Rest, will be named after you.
It won't say so in the book, but you and I will know.

I had probably too much fun with the random spark tables in this. For example...
Did you know? The John Wick franchise is based on the time Buster Keaton killed hundreds and hundreds of people because he was bored

Dude, you can't just start digging on your property, you gotta call a phone number to check. They built this city on rock 'n roll, dude, you dig in the wrong place, there's gonna be amps and hairspray and Flying Vs and groupies and all sortsa mess you don't wanna deal with.
You know how sometimes you’re playing a video game like Resident Evil and you see a bottle on the ground and you zoom in to read the label and realize that you’re not actually supposed to read any of the text and what you’re looking at is something surreal and confusing
