We have a President that announces military action on fucking social media and ends it with "Thank you for your attention to this matter". Seriously, fuck all the way off. This is serious stuff that requires an announcement from the Oval Office - oh yeah, and maybe Congressional approval too.
I still can't get past the idea that people in America are now supposed to accept that this is a valid form of law enforcement and just assume it's fine when random dudes in groups with face-coverings, no ID, no warrant, & no uniform grab people off the street and force them into unmarked vehicles
This is not normal. A sitting president refusing to call the governor of a state after two elected officials were shot, one fatally, is beyond words. A typical president, regardless of politics, would pick up the phone. Offer condolences.

Yeah if I thought there was even a 5% chance of being renditioned to Gitmo or El Salvador for the crime of leaving my passport at the hotel, I would simply not travel. This is going to kill tourism.
We are the ones weβve been waiting for.
Me, lookin at the sky with my hands on my hips:
"Look, if you're gonna rain, then RAIN already. I mowed AND skipped watering my flowers in anticipation for this, so chop chop let's go."
Beagles gonna beagle! π
You are correct π€£
Absolutely *love* that I planted a tree in my backyard specifically so that my dog would have a shady place to lay and instead he spends 90% of his time laying juuuust beyond its shadow. π₯΄π
So this might be controversial coming the day after May the Fourth but Star Wars The Phantom Menace is NOT a terrible film and I will happily duel anyone to the death over this opinion.
My dog says to cue up Sarah McLachlan and to call animal protective services because he needs some rescuing tonight. ππ«§πΎ

Tonight is the 250th anniversary of Paul Revereβs midnight ride. May his memory remind us all to resist the tyranny forming in our government.

Love those! Very cool.

I absolutely adore this series. The first book especially is my favorite. I was hooked from the start, upon Russell and Holmes' first meeting, and flew through the rest of it so fast I'm surprised the pages didn't catch fire at times π and have revisited many times since!
America did some Good Trouble today. Keep it up, folks!! πππ
Okay so what, now they have a problem with OVERdressing because the penguin representative showed up in a tux? π§ Sheesh, there is just no winning with these people.
As a Hoosier - yes, I agree. Ugh.

do you think Cory Booker can make it for 3 years and about 10 months longer?
And still going!
I know us millennials have the running joke of "Oh, we are tired of living through crazy historical events" but I tell you what, watching the Cory Booker filibuster is exactly the kind of history I want to witness more of.
Booker: "I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I've confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say 'we will do better.'"
Cory Booker is doing something incredible on the Senate floor. If you're not watching, you need to watch: www.youtube.com/live/Ej6locU...
Corey Booker: The power of the people is greater than the people in power. Thank you @booker.senate.gov
