Ice Nine Kills is playing in Baltimore right now. I nearly went, it was only about $80 to see them and Falling in Reverse. I couldn't get out of work in time though :(

everyone always wants to look smart. This is a huge mistake. You want to look dumb. No one asks you to do anything, and you can always do what you want, and if anyone gives you trouble, you say something like "oh my gosh"

This has been my philosophy at work for the past decade. If anyone accuses me of being smart, I break something.

I'm pretty sure this is unintended, and has to do with the way Foldables load and store background apps. I dont know if this is something @pfrazee.com or the other devs would be too concerned about though, since I'm probably one of like only 10 people here with a Foldable.

Here are some examples from my feed. (NOTE: If you do this, Bluesky doesn't seem to let you post photos until you restart the app)

So I just discovered if you have a Foldable phone, open BlueSky while it's folded, then unfold it, the app will open 2 pictures at a time side-by-side if there's 2 or more pictures. If there's only one, it opens on only half the screen, with part of the feed visible on the other half.

Using a story I first came up with when I was 14 is weird too. I'm keeping the same premise, but good lord I had no aptitude for coherent storytelling when I was a kid. I'm changing so much from my original version.

I've been working on writing a fantasy story that I originally wrote as a kid in high school. I havent written in earnest in over a decade, and it's taken me some time to get comfortable. I've got my first 10k words written, but I'm still too nervous to let anyone I know see it.

Been camping for about a week now. Had loads of fun, but I can't wait to get home and see my potato.

There's also these mimi tins coming with 2 Pokemon-151 packs per tin. I definitely want the gengar one at the very least. I'll probably pick up one of each though.

I've been camping in the woods of Maine for a bit, so I haven't been around. But Pokemon 151 has a date in the US now (Sep 22) and there's a Mew UPC that's available on Gamestop for pre-order right now.

A bunch of new Pokémon 151 cards leaked today (not an official real like the others had been) I think at this point, we've seen every Illustraion Art. I absolutely love that we got a caterpie card.

New Pokémon 151 reveal of the day, Machoke. Makes me think of the into to Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Only a few more left to be revealed.

But in 2020, Geller apologized for his dispute with Nintendo, and asked that the resumed using Kadabra in the TCG. Nintendo made no comment, but Pokemon 151 will be the first set that he returns in.

For those unaware, this set will be the first time Kadabra is in a set since Skyridge (May 2003). Nintendo had a dispute with magician Uri Geller two decades ago over Kadabra being allegedly based off of him. Nintendo has not printed a Kadabra card since then.

I haven't seen any new Pokémon 151 card reveal today, so here are a few that were revealed beforeI joined BlueSky. I really like the artwork on the Poliwhirl. Also, Poliwhirl (a middle form) getting an art card means there's a chance Kadabra gets one too.

I have a feeling some people won't like seeing Charizard yet again though, especially because he's in Obsidian Flame, the set releasing before Pokemon 151.

Oh man, I loved this series as a kid, but eventually forgot about it. Then I found a video on YouTube that was just a dude explaining the entirety of Animorphs to his friends for 4 hours. What a ride that was, I had forgotten so much about it.

There so much life in the art on these cards.
