Snap elections in Iceland 🇮🇸 today. I was pleased that my problem this cycle was too many parties that I wanted to vote for rather than not a single one to be excited about. Lots of uncertainty about who will win and which parties will make it into parliament make for an exciting election night!

Women's strike in Iceland today to protest gender inequality. Schools, day cares, swimming pools, libraries, banks, all closed due to lack of staff. Police believe 70-100 thousand people showed up for protest meeting in downtown Reykjavík today. (Note: pop of Iceland is around 375 thou.) gendersky
