And yes I'd like to think men know that women in prostitution are in the same boat. They are not there by choice and they don't keep the money you give them. They are victims and you are the abuser, complicit with their pimps, who you probably don't know exists, but who does.

So men who follow me, I implore you to stop watching rape (all modern porn) and stop agreeing with your mates when they disparage women or tall about women as if we are inferior or only here for the gratification of men. How the likes of Andrew Tate became so popular, I will never understand.

How to stop it? The law. You can't rely on the general public to do anything but lie to themselves to suit their beliefs. If you think legal means don't help protect many, then what's the point of having laws again child porn? It doesn't stop all abuse, but it stops at least some of it.

If you watch modern porn, you are watching rape, no matter what you think. So you are contributing to that. Porn stars who claim to enjoy it are almost always (prob always) being controlled and exploited by men. Abuse, whether by violence, financial control or drugs, is what keeps them doing it.

I'm not sure how much men are aware of how much women are afraid of them. Given mass consumption of violent porn, I no longer feel safe with any man I don't know well. Depressing. I don't know the answer, but I also don't want to be attacked, like so many women are now, randomly on the street/tube.

I'm still confused about the fox-rabbit situation. I'm guessing if the fox moves in, the rabbits are too terrified to say much, so just try to keep quiet and out of the fox's way? Badgers can handle themselves, I think, so less of an issue. But rabbits are a key prey for foxes, so 🤷‍♀️

Foxes will frequently live in shared dens with badgers and rabbits (prey!). Who knew?!

Sure, there are some places I never tire of - Paris, Berlin, Rome, Barcelona, the Alps. But definitely agree some places are brilliant the first time, then perhaps not again, or at least not for a very long time. Egypt for me. Extraordinary and truly unique. Loved the trip. No desire to go back.

I've never returned to Cesky Krumlov, which I went to in the 1990s, for the reason you mention. And I agree about San Francisco & Marrakesh - similar experiences on my 2nd visits. Fes, though, still amazes, although far too many plastic rubbish bags now litter the streets. But otherwise, the same.

So far, the goods have always arrived. But this has scam potential written all over it, doesn't it? But wotchagonnado? Do you really want to be the rude neighbour who doesn't buy anything to support whatever random event / party / school supplies these kids are raising money for? No. So you pay.

Snapshot of French life: a few times a year, random kids - you hope from the area - turn up at your door with a leaflet asking if you want to buy socks, chocolate, gift wrap... You fill out the form, choose some stuff, give them a cheque without any name on, then hope the goods will one day arrive.
