Several questions unanswered in Georgia response to SNAP funding lapse Gov. Brian Kemp has signaled the state won't be dipping into surplus funds to fill SNAP gaps.

If Kemp’s not willing to use GA’s 14.6 billion surplus (9 bil is undesignated and 5.6 bil is a rainy day fund) to help fund SNAP, what the hell is he going to use it for?? I can’t think of anything more important than keeping people from starving.
