Don’t panic! My fingers were numb after surgery and index finger in particular stayed that way for months, in addition to pain/sensitivity in wrist. But everything went away except for scar pain/tightness. I put bio oil or silicone tape on it when it gets bad and that calms it back down for a bit.

I didn’t have that with my ankle but certainly did with broken wrist. I even had to have a special test to see if I had nerve damage (I didn’t). It eventually calmed down though scar is still extremely sensitive 6 years later.

I think it has been done on a limited basis, but nothing like this. No way it won’t be a major cluster, but almost everyone in MN USA office has resigned—heard there are only 17 left.
