I'm sure the Gold Star families who lost loved ones in this Iran attack will be comforted by this.

Pres Trump told me tonight the US had identified possible candidates to take over Iran, but they were killed in the initial attack.

"The attack was so successful it knocked out most of the candidates," Trump told me. "It's not going to be anybody that we were thinking of because they are all dead. Second or third place is dead."

The front line if there was any justice in this world.

This guy really does struggle to read, doesn't he? I know he gave Obama shit for using the teleprompter but at least Obama didn't stop in weird places and inflect as though sentences were over when they weren't.

The Trump regime is withholding $259 million in Medicaid funding from Minnesota over loose allegations of "fraud."

Meanwhile, Trump has pardoned multiple convicted fraudsters, including several who gave money to his campaign and Super PAC.

The "law and order" president.

Trump is a stochastic terrorist.

Apparently Turner Classic Movies played the movie Gaslight during the State of the Union Address. Well played, Turner Classic Movies. Well played.

After pointing at Democrats and saying they are "crazy," Trump says, "We’re lucky we have a country, with people like this. Democrats are destroying our country, but we stopped it, just in the nick of time."
Just insanely destructive. Indefensible β€”Β but Republicans stood and clapped.

SOTU taking on some ominous lynch mob vibes as the almost entirely white and overwhelmingly male Republicans in the chamber stand and jeer at their Democratic colleagues while their angry, screaming leader eggs them on.

Trump wants us to believe he’s strong when in reality he’s a historically weak president with an administration run by depraved incompetent sycophants taking wannabe authoritarian actions that are constantly backfiring with rejection in the courts, public opinion, and elections.

Lots of folks asking me who I’d like to vote for in 2028 and my answer reminds the same: it’s AOC.

But I’ll vote for whichever Dem the primary voters choose as their candidate.

More billions than Elon behind this abomination.

Please tell fellow Brits to look at what’s happening in Minnesota; to US economy; to US’ standing in the world.

Brexit really isolated you, πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§.
But if you pursue this course, you’ll be more alone than you can even imagine.

Putin will be overjoyed!

Just as a reminder--this is how I hold a pen--so, as you might imagine, my thumb is very much an active participant in the drawing process.

I'll do what I can.

Sometime ago I started a sketchbook that was entirely drawings where I held my pencil "properly" and that's getting a workout. Whatever scant knowledge I possess is still kicking around in the old bean, but my stubborn hand refuses to cooperate. Drawings are pretty shaky.

Update on my thumb--nasty infection led to doctor's visit and fluids drained. Now it's a bandaged mess. I can't hold a pencil in my usual way and my hand simply isn't coordinated enough to use a more traditional grip. Translation--while I can do rough pencils--I won't be able to ink for a while.

17.02.2026 08:12 β€” πŸ‘ 58    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 10    πŸ“Œ 0

Whoa--yeah--I was NOT getting that from that.

My name--not remotely hard to pronounce but apparently challenging to spell. It's not so long or complicated that people feel the need to look it up, like Sienkiewicz, Eliopoulos or Orzechowski--they just assume they can spell it right and then don't.

I'm not sure what the point in continuing this is since you seem determined to argue with points that I'm not making.

Any one of those voters isn't running for office. Brian from accounting doesn't have to worry that something he said will derail his run for the White House.

I would hope for a far left candidate that really went for it. The right is going to call moderates "communists" anyway so why not put somebody in place that would actually change some stuff? This middle-of-the-road stuff is getting us nowhere.

I'm just saying not to hold out for a specific, narrowly defined sentence. Obama didn't deliver absolutely everything that I wanted but I still voted for him in the following election because the alternative was going to be vastly worse.

16.02.2026 23:42 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Any politician needs to navigate a minefield in order to get elected. The opposition is going to pounce on anything they feel is too far over the line, which is why they're often too cautious to get into specifics.

16.02.2026 23:37 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Not at all--what I find unlikely is a politician saying the exact words I want them to say in exactly the right way. Of course we want ALL of the horrors to end. But if somebody said they intend to undo ALL the damage Trump did, the implication is that a LOT is covered in that blanket statement.

16.02.2026 23:17 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Don't put words in my mouth. My point is--everybody wants things done. If we compiled a list it would be a thousand pages long--and I would hope ALL of it would be accomplished--but what I don't expect is for any politician to specify everything on that list before I'd be willing to support them.
