The same man KS later gave a peerage too, despite the fact he'd campaigned for someone who'd been charged with possessing indecent images of children
Darren Jones says the govt agreed to pay Peter Mandelson around £75,000 for being sacked but that Keir Starmer has since said he should return the cash.
Maybe the govt shouldn't have paid it in the first place?
