Sweden’s support has helped more than 400 people to travel abroad for recovery, and the support continues. #StandwithUkraine
Russia’s illegal deportations of Ukrainian children violate international law, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and international humanitarian law.
Sweden is working to ensure that the children can return home and that those responsible are held accountable.
The latest UN Commission of Inquiry report concludes that Russia’s systematic drone attacks targeting civilians in Kherson may amount to crimes against humanity.
Supporting Ukraine and holding Russia accountable for its grave violations of international law remains a top priority for Sweden.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson is receiving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for a meeting in Sweden.
Following their meeting, Mr Kristersson and President Zelenskyy will hold a joint press conference to make an announcement in the area of defence exports.

Sweden supports Ukraine via the World Bank.
As winter approaches, Sweden is increasing its support to the World Bank’s Ukraine Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform Trust Fund (URTF) by SEK 385 million.
Last week, Benjamin Dousa took part in the Annual Meeting of the World Bank.
Yesterday, a new civil support package for Ukraine worth more than SEK 1.1 billion was presented.
