No they are not shielded, according to Bose. The top and bottom will emit magnetism. I did not notice anything wrong when they were near my BVM though, so I guess we'll see.

Bought this screen because of @nataliethenerd.com tweet thinking the price is gonna shoot up when the project is released. Now I play the waiting game🤓

All of the 3dfx chips had bent legs. It's likely someone twisted the heatsink off of them (to harvest them, just like the RAM chips). Some of the main chips also have bridges on the legs. Can't even say if those chips are still alive or not.

I didn't win. Didn't even try to raise the bid in the end. Whoever wants to resolder all 3 main chips and solder on all the missing RAM chips can have it.🤷‍♂️

If you actually rebuild, do RAID6.
