Holy crap, I didnβt know someone already translated this game into English long ago!π
Tenchi o Kurau II - Shokatsu Koumei Den / Destiny of The Emperor II
This is a very good RPG, folks. The music is nice too. Play it when you get the time. Itβs well worth it!π
It was over a 12V rail with a 100R to probably achieve a 5.1V reference voltage. It was generating so much heat that I thought something was wrong about it, but really, nothing was wrong now that I think about it.
What I did wrong was to replace that resistor with a piece of wireπ€‘
Not easy anymore since I've fried it by accidentπ€ͺ
26.01.2026 02:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0opening reactor bombing mission. teal is game start, elevator down into reactor, then escape into sector 8 on upper left (jump onto train)
sector 7, tifa's bar area on the left, pillar up top obvs, train station on right, bottom is the little park and the collapsed highway with the metal wreckage maze
train tunnel to sector 4 underneath via vents on left, then climbing to sector 5 reactor (upper right). the 6 screens of tunnel apparently comprise half the entire circle around the city!
yeah, this one confused people...
assembling FINAL FANTASY VII walkmeshes to see how they fit together (thanks @onetrickwolf.bsky.social for JSON dumps of the geometry). probably should've tried this before i drew the big Midgar map but still cool. maybe could use these as a basis for area detail maps. some comments in alt text

Receiver popped and entered protector mode while turning on. Turned it on again shortly after and everything seemed fine. It's either on its way out or the CRT that just happened to be degaussing next to one of the surround speakers triggered the internal protectionπ€‘

24.01.2026 23:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0More fiddling with the card.
With the 12cm helper fan, it idles at 42Β°C and maxed out at 54Β°C with the fur cube.
If I remove the fan, idle temp slowly creeps up to 54Β°Cπ I wouldnβt even wanna stress the card now since itβs definitely gonna cross 60Β°C and start deforming PLAπ«

24.01.2026 04:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I even dumped the BIOS and it was verified. Not sure how or why the fan is not working in it's intended behavior. Could be the NMOS or the chip itself, which is unobtainable at this point.
24.01.2026 02:30 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This card also runs super hot with only the two fans on there. But it seems a little bit of external help can drop its temperature by a lotπ€
24.01.2026 02:06 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0This card is weird. Might even be broken on the fan control.
This card uses a F7573S for fan control. However mine doesnβt turn the fan on. The output pin only has around 1.6V, no matter what % I set it to in ATITool.
I had to bridge the fan to 12V to force it to spinπ«
