Every year when I see news from the World Economic Forum in Davos, and who is attending and speaking, I can’t help but think how much better of the entire world would be if a giant sink hole just opened up and swallowed that entire event and all of its attendees.

This documentary is about Raymond Flanks who was wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for almost 39 years in Angola, and follows his story through exoneration and release with help from The Innocence Project New Orleans and how he's building a new life with organizations like Thrive New Orleans.
4. "Vindication to Victory - The Raymond Flanks Story" directed by my long time friend Matt Brundige will have a cast and crew screening in New Orleans this week (I'm super bummed I can't be there for it!) but there will be a Dallas screening next month. Stay tuned for details.

3. El Tonto Por Cristo , a drama about Orthodox Christian monks and their spiritual struggles with life in the monastery is currently doing a special theatrical tour in select cities across the US.
It has a big 1980's music nostalgia vibe. It was written and directed by Blake Calhoun and produced by Joey Stewart. They were a great team to work with! Check it out tonight! Pro tip: It's available in 4k and in 5.1 surround on Apple TV. Original score by Damon Criswell.
2. Casey Makes A Mixtape will release on all major streaming services this week. It's a fun movie for pre-teens, teens, and parents who want to teach their kids how we used to consume music back in the day.
1. The Bastards Of Soul documentary will be airing on KERA next weekend, set your DVRs! This is a heartfelt tribute to singer Chadwick Murray and the great Dallas band from their longtime friend and collaborator Paul J Levatino. Streaming news to come soon on this one!
