I don't know what it is about this line that I love so much. It's simple and without my usual brand of snark, but something about it resonated with me while I was editing today.

After what happened today, I think it’s time for a social media break for a little bit. While I have sympathy for his wife and two very small children, I don’t think I can handle the finger pointing and blame that’s going to run rampant for the near future.

Pictures of ferrets are better than reading my rambling for sure!!

I know I’m supposed to building a following by writing engaging content. But man my life is boring! So unless you want to see lots of pictures of cat, ferrets, dogs, and an occasional book or editing post, I’m probably going to fail on gaining a ton of followers.

Honestly, this message melted my editors heart!!

I’ve been away from my #writing for two weeks now since my mom was in the hospital. And now I have anxiety about starting again tomorrow. So, I’m making a writing goal of 200 words. If I hit it, I’ll feel good. Baby steps.

Alright folks: let’s keep the thirst to a minimum here. Sgt. McGovern (right) is only in the photo to provide scale. After the last couple of posts a disclaimer seems appropriate. We aren’t sure what breed this tiny, long, skinny dog is but he or she (Kodo or Podo) has weaseled its way into our collective heart. We’d love to add it to the K9 Unit to assist Rosie in ferreting out crime, or maybe SVU (Special Vermin Unit), but someone is surely missing this critter. Come get your dog. “Nice marmot!” ***UPDATE: Somehow this small Fair-it(Rolo) made his way from Yonkers to Ossining without a Metrocard. Thankfully he has been returned with parents, and will be reunited with his brother who has been worried sick! We aren’t sure exactly how he made his way all the way north to us, but we are happy he is back home with his family!
