Excited to share that our work on a useful method for defining AOIs in eye-tracking has been published! If you’re a chemistry education eye-tracking researcher, this could be highly interesting for you.

Just a quick reminder, in case you forgot:
You are doing great work!

In 2019, Hansen et al. used eye-tracking as a feedback tool. It took five years for another study using eye-tracking as a feedback tool for chemistry students to be published in chemistry education research. Here it is:

Today we had the honor of hosting Axel Langner @axellangner.bsky.social and Dr. Nicole Graulich @graulichcer.bsky.social for our research group meeting! Axel gave a great presentation which led to a fun discussion about the use of different metrics to analyze eye tracking data.
While staying at the UNCG with the Popova Group, I visited SERMACS23 and got the chance to preside a session. Was fun!
