Thank you for such robust funding, @californiapuc.bsky.social. I advised a group of students who researched the six active intervenor compensation programs and one of the issues they observed in CA was the long delay for reimbursement (one party mentioned 6 years!) Any progress on that?

Just 21 states track shutoffs. At the height of COVID, 42 states reported utility shutoffs and ALL had some form of moratorium on shutoffs. During this crisis, officials recognized electricity as essential. Since 2024 only 21 states report shutoff data - half the countryβs shutoffs are invisible.
