In a new study, @wmjunk.bsky.social and I examine which groups are preferred partners in agenda setting. We find NGOs are favoured, and trusted allies trump capable newcomers—shaping how networks form and why NGOs hold an edge.
Does lobbying access actually mean lobbying influence?
In our new @jeppjournal.bsky.social paper we try to answer this key question in interest group politics and lobbying by exploring models of access = influence translation.
