A pixelated wrestler raising his arms in triumph with a stack of books beside him. The subtitle says "A Reader Is You". This is a play on the "A Winner Is You" meme.

I read your review of Wicked (I have also watched Wicked). Are you alright? Do you need a hug?

I have just seen the worst Celebrity Antique Road Trip ever (and I have seen a few)! Hetti Jago and Steven Moore (with Emmerdale's Matt Wolfenden and Roxy Shahidi) take their purchases to a village hall in Yorkshire with no online bidders and sell everything for £10. Yorkshire stereotype *unlocked*

We forget that TV was once like this. And we should not forget. We should not be allowed to forget.

In my work capacity as a librarian today I came across this image in a book and thought to myself, "mm, that's familiar. Must be a famous work." A few minutes later - yeah, it's the rotten dot com skeleton 😄💀(showing my age and *possibly* my level of depravity)

They will be eating bananas next. Continental un-British bananas.

I'm also going to throw into the mix - Motormouth. The only thing I can remember is the giant mouth-shaped set, complete with tongue and teeth.

I remember this! Animated(?) intro moving through the sewer pipes, slightly grotesque puppets.

Hotel Babylon (*not* the awful drama set in a posh urban hotel, the late night, and fairly low rent, music programme hosted by Dani Behr). Also, Passengers (similar).

Interesting that you have gone for all of the part 3s of the trilogies. Is there something they have in common that you like, other than them all bringing the narratives to a close? Palpatine?

Okay, Bluesky is official now! As soon as we got @richardosman.bsky.social and @markhamillofficial.bsky.social I knew all was well.

That is a perfectly fine opinion to have but I don't think Last Jedi is very good. It does have absolutely brilliant elements but, for me, they don't make up for the whole. The "grow beyond" Yoda scene is one of my all time favourite scenes, though. 💚

Emma, I have just ordered one of your silver cast forget-me-not seedheads for my girlfriend. Forget-me-nots are her favourite flower and I have been looking for the right piece for ages. This is perfect and I would have not have found you if not for Bluesky! @silverpebble2.bsky.social

I had seen the films on TV and owned some action figures but I didn't get into Star Wars until I was in 6th form college (1998) just before Phantom Menace. I made a "Luke I am your father" joke to the guy next to me in English Lit and he laughed. He was a SW geek and we ended up being good friends.

Used the 5-6 hour car journey from Market Weighton to Edinburgh to listen to almost the entirety of the audiobook of PL Traver's Mary Poppins read by the *wonderful* Olivia Colman. Great stuff - she really nails Mary Poppins' hardness. Unforgivably rude at times. Made me laugh. 😋

A dog that looks more like William H. Macy than William H. Macy looks like William H. Macy A man that looks quite a bit like William H. Macy (because it is William H. Macy) but who still looks considerably less like William H. Macy than the dog in the previous picture

My favourite celebrity lookalike will never not be William H. Macy and his dogpelgänger. If you’re not sure which of the pictures is which, check the alt text for answers...
