"Fairy Falls" - A silky curtain of water, draped in emerald vegetation and crowned with sunlight. A short recent visit to the Columbia Gorge was certainly a nice way to end the summer!

The leaves are POPPING near home right now and I was fortunate to catch peak weekend finally for these aspens! Last year, I was a little early for this composition and got lots of lime green with only a hint of yellow.

We don’t get much rain in #Colorado. This was shot out near Steamboat a few weeks ago and is one of my all time favorite black and white photos. The water was gone just 30 minutes later, and then it got hot and humid, and then we got violently hailed and rained on.
