I’m not sure those floaties will keep a baby t-Rex afloat. Pretty sure t-rexes couldn’t swim with those tiny arms. Continuing my #characterdesign practice with dinosaurs. They’re a staple in kidlit, but not something I’ve drawn much of.

Day 3 Character Design series. I remember how frustrated my youngest would get when trying to eat ice cream when they were little. It always melted too fast or fell off the cone. Luckily, little dogs are very effective cleaners of messes.

Family portrait

Occasionally I do family portraits for people in a cartooned way — it’s a fun alternative to photography if you’re thinking of hiring someone for this kind of service. This is a crew from whom I bought our new old Land Cruiser (they happened to be art fans, so we worked a partial trade).

I’m thinking about it too. I’ve never done it and I’m not sure I have the bandwidth.
