The Senate’s government funding bill fails to address the Republican health care crisis and cuts SNAP by $18 billion. It’s a bad deal for the American people — I’ll be a strong NO when this bill comes up for a vote in the House of Representatives.

I’m horrified by the shooting of Charlie Kirk today in Utah. We must come together as a nation to condemn this disgusting act and all acts of political violence. Americans must unite in demanding an end to the epidemic of gun violence in the United States.
