yep, knowing your weakness is part of winning in the long game of life. I noticed that I don't gain any substance addictions other than having a sweet tooth. HOWEVER, I do get behavioural addictions. A lot of my life is tied to my computer.
For me, I have always had a "The odds are stacked against me, the loss is too easy to happen and too costly". Things that I'm not forced to do I do not like to leave to chance. I'd rather get my thrill from doing things slow, stable and as certain as they come.
