To preface: I think Connor McDavid is a great player. Incredibly talented, and quite possibly the most gifted player in the NHL. If he played for my favorite team, I would be pretty okay with it.

I was live for EIGHT HOURS yesterday thinking I was gonna finish Expedition 33.

I did not, but I capped off a couple big side areas, so that was fun.

But now I have to edit down an 8-hour VOD, and the mountain feels unreasonably large.

I'm not so "rah rah USA" - especially in its current state - that I cheer against Canada in these Olympics purely becuz of national rivalry (although it can be fun).

I really just think Canada's goalie Jordan Binnington is a giant donkey fart.

Goddamn, Finland was SO CLOSE to holding out for overtime, but Canada was just too relentless. Saros was STELLAR for the Finns, but he just couldn't do it all for his team, and the Canadians turned up the heat in the 2nd and never let up.

Canada moves on to the Gold Medal Game on Sunday.

The remake looked way more engaging in the late areas than OG was, for me. I always felt it needed a serious edit job, and that final island looks like they addressed it somewhat. Still a bit heavy on the action in some places but it didn't look as tiresome as I'd expected. Glad you enjoyed it!
