Sorry for the initial confusion which rubbed a bunch of people the wrong way. We appreciate the update. It's also heartening to hear that our fund-raising/activism efforts are appreciated.
Hey no worries, lots of people were confused by that. Totally our fault.
Hey we're a bit slow on the socials and our initial messaging was confusing, but fyi you don't need to pay ANYTHING to update the plug-ins you own. And honestly, if we DID want to charge for updating we wouldn't feel an iota of guilt about that as we've given free updates for about 10 years now.
Way back in 2010 when Haiti was devastated by an earthquake, I wanted to find a way to help. I had some very long and intense conversations with a dear friend about the ethics of corporate fundraising, and how it was often a veneer for just SELLING MORE STUFF.
Thanks!
Can't wait to hear what you make with it!
Just messing around with the SpaceBlender beta this morning - getting close to release!
We're in the final days of dialing in the sound of our new plug-in and Phoebe has something to say!
Good on you Chappell Roan calling out music labels... musicians need healthcare too!
Good luck to all of our friends at the Grammies tonight! It's been a rough few weeks, and everyone in LA deserves a night to celebrate music. We're all back home in Vermont now but we're right there with you in spirit.
Here we go... first public jam session playing through our new toy. #NAMM
Been locked in and head down working on a new plug-in since summer. We’re doing a sneak peak tomorrow at NAMM. It’s been a huge push so it feels great to finally come up for air and to see it all coming together! #NAMM
A day in the life... Pete and Otto in the workshop dissecting our CR-78 @soundtoys.bsky.social
You need to steal my Macbook at the moment. We should get you set up as a beta tester!
Not quite two minutes, but close!
Are you using the basic LFO mode that you see when you start up the plug-in? I've got the code in front of me right now. The slowest rate is 0.1 Hz (10 seconds).
How slow do you want it to go?
And so fun to hang and listen to Brendan aka Saapato
A little snippet of the gorgeous @chuckjohnsonmusic.bsky.social set
When we're not deep in the code mines we love hanging out with old and new musical friends in our studio. We're so, so lucky to have @gregdavismusic.bsky.social here to help us bring artists like @chuckjohnsonmusic.bsky.social and @saapato.bsky.social into our secret sound cave.
Hard to tell from this photo, but it might be because the PrimeTime's max sample rate was 32 kHz (at 1x) and only had a 12k frequency response. PrimalTap would be the same.
What's that waterfall plot in the background?
It you're interested in how we got started here's a little nostalgia thread
