We’re mostly doing well in Bangkok but it’s scary how strongly we felt it despite being so far away! I’m sad for the people of Myanmar who have so much going on already …and now this 😞 thank you again for your helpful and calming information. I’ve shared it with friends 🙇🏻‍♀️

@brianolson.bsky.social can you give us info about the 7.7 from Myanmar? 🤯🙏🏼 I was on the 32nd floor in Bangkok and it was pretty moderate (not quite “strong”) and friends from Saigon and Hong Kong also felt it — such a wide area!! Now they are predicting aftershocks in 15-30 min. Is that possible?

Im from LA so think that maybe it felt like a 5 here in Bangkok but I don’t think we could have felt a 5 from Myanmar this far away
