Ooft. Subbing goalkeeper after 17 minutes is an absolutely horrible shout
What a total disaster Spurs are. All completely predictable, too
Good laugh 🍿
Busy wee day for Joey Barton! ☺️
Liam Scales has a habit of back-handed compliments/insults in his press conferences 😂
I would take from this that the defence has definitely been concerned that Kasper never, ever comes to collect crosses
Was really noticeable that Sinisalo did on Sunday, and yes: it did take so much pressure off
Aye 👍 I’m a big believer in just buying good players, and sorting out systems, formations etc later
Yes, we already have a very good right back but
a) that’s no excuse to not sign another when we play 60 games a season and
b) they’re both adaptable enough to be useful elsewhere
I’d get it done
“We all make mistakes” 😂
Aye, let he who is without sin cast the first flare in to the away end
Nice to see Kieran Bowie score his first goal for Verona at the weekend
However.. they’ve a hell of a job on to stay in that division this season
Still odds on to go down. You wonder if he’ll still be there next season if so
Aye, shouldn’t forget how good he was last season (well, most of it)
Was a marked step-up from Joe Hart when he first arrived. Some great Champions League performances
Just a bridge too far for him. And us. Typical Celtic
Somewhere, the Brazilian Tom English has run out of pearls to clutch
Absolutely superb 👏
So, so approving of this level of shithousery
Ridiculous
I watched FA Cup highlights. There were numerous pitch-invasions from jubilant fans. It’s not ideal, but it happens
What generally doesn’t happen is that opposition supporters stream on to battle them, assault coaching staff and throw projectiles in to the away support
Pure sickener!!
🤤👌
Yup, funny, I thought exactly the same myself today
The confidence it must inspire in the centre halves when he’s closing down quickly and coming to collect deep crosses (which has never been Kasper’s strength, to be fair)
Really like him. Hope pushes on!
In all seriousness, Balikwisha has not been great, but he’s clearly, obviously a better standard of footballer than Mvuka. I think I probably am
How is he behind him in the squad?!
And to the original point: there’s seriously no academy players at that standard? That’s alarming if not
Yeah, writing’s been on the wall for a while
Kasper was great for 90% of last season, and we shouldn’t forget that. Was great in the CL for us
But his decline has been rapid and brutal. Probably because he’s nearly 40 years old tbf 😂
Sinisalo looks more agile, confident, assured. I like him
Aye. Looked like a ‘right good teammate’, as wee Gordon might say
Totally agree
Mentally dominated the whole shootout, sticking up for and encouraging our takers and affecting theirs as much as possible
Didn’t look like a young back-up keeper. Looked really confident and assured
Absolutely! And encouraging our takers on their way up too, really gee-ing them up, thought he was superb
He was probably unlucky not to save the other two pens they took also
Thought Sinisalo was excellent today
Not just his saves
Or his coming deep to collect crosses (Schmeichel just doesn’t do that, and it takes so much pressure off of us)
But his all-round leadership and command of the defence today was really noticeable. Looked so assured throughout
#1 now surely
Aye, fuck it
Get him signed
Whatever it costs
☘️ 🇲🇽
I honestly can’t comprehend how angry they must be at that result today 😂
Which is lovely. Obviously
Celtic were atrocious. We didn’t have a single shot on target in 120 minutes of play, and only one shot of any kind
You think that was the game plan? To have no efforts on goal?
As the biggest and best-resourced team in the league, we should never be so regularly outplayed by domestic opposition
Celtic didn’t register a single shot on target in 120 minutes today
and only shot in total
Rangers only had one shot on target
but twenty-four shots in total
True, though it helps if your opponent can’t hit a barn door despite having 24 shots on goal
We didn’t have a single shot on target the entire game
I think two things can be true at once:
Celtic, collectively, did not play well today. I think you’d struggle to find anyone who believes that was great performance
But you have to credit players who, in spite of that, kept us afloat
In honesty, I feel that was partly down to Rangers being awful
Joel has definitely given me a bit of hope
Nice touch
🤤
Typical of him. Fiery character
Absolutely. Keeper and centre-halves were heroic
‘Unique Angle’ should be fun this week
Nice sweeping wide-angle view of Sean Maloney being put in a headlock by a twenty-three stone bald Hun with a King Billy neck-tattoo
😂😂 Genuinely, I was astonished when he signed him
