This was on the beach in Manta, Ecuador! Apparently, after they clean their fish, the remains just go in the water near shore because after this one we saw at least 5 more fish/shark heads! I’ll pass on swimming at this beach!

Embera crafts

The Embera people welcome us to their village because we are their primary source of income. The land they live on was turned into a national park and they are no longer allowed to hunt or farm enough to survive so they had to find another way to get their food. Tourism is how they do that.

Today we had so much fun exploring the Grand Cayman! We’ve spent a lot of time in the Caribbean so we chose to save our money for excursions in South America and not do a whole lot here. We found a little beach and swam for a bit, then had lunch and some cocktails before reboarding the ship!

Moniker- great atmosphere though a little small, we read online that they had off-street parking but if so we couldn’t find it, good beer, nice staff, they don’t serve food but usually have a food truck outside or you can bring your own.

(Newport cont.) Also, if you just had a real Chicago dog in Chicago just 3 months ago and you order a Chicago dog here you’re going to be disappointed so maybe listen to your wife when she tells you this before ordering.

(Newport cont.) Beer was good, staff was nice, we only shared 1 hotdog as an app so I can’t really comment on the food except when getting a dog, splurge for the all beef because the standard was not so great (but I’m a hotdog snob).

Newport- atmosphere was appropriate for the area but not really our vibe but that could have just been all the rich, old, white men hanging around that made me feel that way.

We stopped at 3 breweries while in Rhode Island and here’s how they stacked up:

Narragansett- awesome atmosphere, great staff, good beer, not so great food.
