I'm an American, grew up in tropical countries, lived and raised a family in New England for over 40 years, been living in tropical country for the past 14 yrs - they have used banana leaves instead of plastic for centuries here. Unfortunately, most have opted to use plastic.

Spot on. I have nothing against trying to be successful and wealthy but there has to be proper taxes paid back to the system that allowed one to get wealthy. We need a wealth tax - at least 25% for people that are have $250 million and up.
