i think now that i know Unreal it would be hilarious to just skip to chapter 6 (or a very high number) and itโ€™s an unhinged first person shooter, story is an obvious progression of *something*. when people ask about the other chaptersโ€ฆ no we donโ€™t talk about those.

killing cash was a mistake. you can't take cuts from cash. you can even avoid taxes with cash (not recommended but possible). if you have cash, every penny stays yours.

also lets not start talking about EU tax laws and how digitizing everything just made everything more complicated because you have to have digital IDs for everything also for apps that are constantly breaking... but ok technology is important you don't want to be "left behind"

i say this after my face ID got locked from the bank app, resulting in me getting locked out of my bank, because i got logged out of google and couldn't get the 2FA, because the authenticator app logged me out and 2FA can't get sent to my international phone number so...

i work incredibly hard for every penny i make then...
the storefront takes a cut, the payment processor takes a cut, paypal takes a cut, the bank takes a cut, the credit card takes a cut, the currency conversion takes a cut, then the taxes take a big cut.

i have great dev news! i did a TON of bug fixing these last few days and playtested it to death. it actually runs in my old Dell now!!! i was able to play it to completion. if it runs on that machineโ€ฆ then iโ€™m calling that a performance win. ๐ŸŽ‰
