Very nice posing, and the character looks so consistent across them all! I want to make sprites that look like this 🙏

I am once again considering using super stylized/cartoony sprites so I don't hit artblock by trying to nail an anime style

newbie gamedev me had no idea what they were getting into like i really thought i could do a 7-route 100k+ word novel plus art plus music by myself and not die

My thought process:

Wrapping something up before stream!

Contrast is so so so important in design, and I think that's why this works better (in my humble opinion). The design feels more filled out and complete, even though not much has been added in terms of literal fabric. On that note, I think his fur and shirt may still be a bit too close in value.

Combined A and C1 and made a couple more tweaks, I think we're getting there 🦄💜

But also I put ribbons and bows on so many of my character designs is that too self indulgent

Oh maybe a little ribbon tied around his neck or something could be cute... I didn't want to restrict him with a high collar but it is quite a lot of empty skin, I see what you mean

Rough costume design idea for a unicorn character. The outfit mixes feminine and masculine elements, including lots of lace and ruffles, and a translucent skirt over shorts.
