These sorts of debanking strategies make it so the more desperate artists as well as spambots will have to either not tag their work, or actively shove it where it doesn't belong at worst in the hope their audience can actually see it. Ppl will see more untagged kink, not less if we keep this up.
The hard part is, these restrictive rules actually mean even more artists won't tag their work. Because if everything is allowed, tagging is also an advertisement and worth doing to find your audience. If it's not allowed, then it's just telling on yourself.

Ok, spent my morning sending angry letters and govt. comments about at least a fraction of the fuckassery in this hell country. Now I just gotta survive day job long enough so I can animate more dick bouncing.
Need to make one of those "do it for her" memes, but it's just Jon getting railed
As someone else mentioned in this thread I believe you still can comment even if you're not from the US! There's an anonymous option, but even if you're outside the US you may still interact with US based banks on the daily, so I'd imagine your opinion would be considered as well
I second this! The comment provided by the USIPS was especially helpful, they were able to outline additional issues with what needs to be done to elevate this proposal to something more substantial.
Comments don't have to be super long or super verbose, but it helps to see what others have said
what the fuck
Hey, alongside contacting your representatives, this seems like another thing worth putting a bit of your time into and sharing around. If we could get "reputational risk" taken off the table, even in this current climate, that could create a chilling effect on these kinds of policies
On the plus side, think of all the money you'll save on lube (just don't think about all the couches you'll ruin)
Forever goopy, very unfortunate

Dude yeah planning them out can get so complicated. I had one long ass scene to plan and ended up drawing *maps* to remember where everyone was at any given scene. Felt so silly but it helped so much for how many characters I had to juggle
Dragon babies are practically cats for the first few years, so that's incredibly apt. Also pumkpin sounds very cute, please give her a pet for me β€οΈ
If I think about them too long I will (and have) ugly cry π₯²
Gonna be so real I'm surprised ppl haven't done the math on that one yet π or they didn't want to, it's sad math
That's only kind of a joke, I really do treat those scenes functionally the same. There's a whole theory on "body genres" and why the overlap exists. But tbh that's also probably because I'm acespec and sex is always like, a little scary and high tension regardless, so
I love writing action scenes, but that's because they're structurally similar to smut scenes. The emotions and physicality are still amped up, lots of anxious tension, grappling and submission, somebody is probably bleeding by the end. They're the same picture
Fading to black but itβs just for complicated action scenes while all the sex scenes are written in full
Are people actually saying that?? π We're forgetting our roots that's so sad
Well, not one of y'all took my pen from me and now I'm animating again.
Told myself I wanted this to be multiple scenes but we will see how I feel. Animating is fun but I will also destroy my body if I'm not careful.
Finished most of the lines for scene 1 and it's already so hot tho
thank you so much for 3K followers! let's celebrate with a lil #DTIYS ?
βοΈ no deadline
βοΈ feel free to change the pose (and to put your own OC in the outfit too, Eoghan loves company)
βοΈ QRP this or post your own tagging me and #luce3k, I'll reshare them all~
most importantly: have fun! βοΈ
[OCs] hands comparison #ocsky
Oh hell yeah that's gorgeous! That does look fun, I love a good veil
Congrats on 3k! And I think that just depends on what you're open for workload wise. A dtiys would be neat I've still never done one of those
Oh, didn't realize they also called the collections "distasteful" and "disrespectful" too.
Boy, sure would suck if a bunch of the projects listed suddenly got a lot of extra support or something π³ that would sure show me!
Would hate if someone found a story that was specific to their taste. π©π¦
Sry, not sure if this is helpful at all or if I'm just rambling. I just don't want you to be too hard on yourself for something that is very difficult to control with how things are rn. They can get better, but it's gonna take all of us to do it
And I think at some point, that can't all fall on you to uplift every trans artist ever at the risk of your mental health. Some of what needs to happen is more of a cultural shift in online spaces, and maybe directing ppl to tools to build communities of their own, you know?
But I also think some of that lack of engagement is mutual, you know? A big thing I've noticed in artists that pop off is they tend to work with others a lot, they talk to other artists, they make fanart of OCs as gifts. Posting and ghosting will only encourage ppl to engage but so much
Yeah, and it's hard to say entirely why that is. Comments and engagement w/art overall (nsfw esp) is down on every platform, even for art w/more mainstream appeal. Sometimes ppl are shy, or art has become a commodity to them, or in some cases I have friends scared of outing themselves on socials
I still don't entirely know what the answer is besides honesty, which you're already doing. But you shouldn't beat yourself up about all this at all. You already support so many people as is, it doesn't all have to fall on you.
