Confirmed. Resident Doctors’ strike in England, 7:00am on 17 December to 06:59am on 22 December.

After the last round of strike action, resident doctors in England gave Wes Streeting a window to deliver sufficient progress towards a viable deal on jobs and pay.

That hasn’t happened.

Residents have been given no choice but to return to the picket lines.

Today marks the start of strike action for resident doctors in England.
These strikes could have been averted, if @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social had a credible offer for us to consider.

BMA members and staff are joined by members of the emergency services for a memorial event, 20 years after the 7/7 bombings.

Today marks 20 years since the 7/7 bombings struck London.

On that day, 52 people were killed, with many more injured.

We remember all those who lost their lives and were – and continue to be – impacted by the events of that day.

If you're trying to figure out what to do right now, my advice is to just pick a thing that you think might be useful in some way, however small, and do it. Doing a thing leads you to doing another, bigger thing, and prepares you for that next thing.
