Revisiting Securidon, one of my Atlantean Mesonychids. Left has more original proportions, right I've modified to emphasize the forelimbs. While Securidon and it's relatives are open grassland sprinters, it in particular likes to grapple and tackle it's prey, and needs strong arms to do so.
