China's space program has made remarkable strides in recent years, positioning itself as a major player in space exploration. Including Space Station Construction and Manned Missions. As well as Robotic Missions to The Moon's Far Side and Mars! πŸš€πŸš©πŸ‘¨πŸΌβ€πŸš€πŸŒ•πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈπŸ•ŠοΈ

NASA will be the ones taking data from these ongoing Chinese Robotic missions and using the findings to their own advantage.

On a personal note, it’s very clear much of what people in the U.S. and beyond hear is propaganda. China isn’t β€œcopying and stealing” its way to the Moon or trailing behind. It’s advancing through fact-driven missions and major innovations, paving the way for a well-earned crewed lunar landing.

By incorporating the thermal properties of lunar soil at extremely low temperatures, the model simulates the distribution of surface radiation, soil temperature, and the areas where water ice is thermally stable, offering a more detailed and precise map of potential ice deposits.

Chinese scientists have created a high-res model to evaluate water ice stability in the Moon’s Shackleton Crater, a potential landing site for China’s Chang’e-7 mission. Launching in 2026, the mission will conduct detailed remote sensing and on-site analysis of water ice at the lunar south pole.

This just about says it all...

China: We're going to land on the moon before the 80th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

US: We're going to land on the moon before the end of the Trump administration.

It is concerning, it's about 1.5 inches a year the Moon is moving away from Earth. I know at least at the current rate the Sun will expand and destroy the inner solar system before it happens. Hopefully nothing speeds it up!

There may be advantages of departing from the Moon for exploration in our primitive rocket ships. There is also Helium 3 there, a potential clean fusion power source in the future, enough for thousands of years. The Moon's far side is an amazing place for Astronomers to place a Radio telescope too.

I wondered if the saucer section of a Trek shaped Ship could became a 'centrifuge wheel' for artificial gravity, and instead of warp nacelles you have some sort of nuclear reactors out there, suddenly you have quite a practical space ship design that i could imagine bodly exploring our solar system!
