Could you volunteer to advance dementia research?
It was our best #WDAD2025 in Greater Manchester yet. 100 delegates. 30 on waiting list.
New learning and connections. International visitors. Lived experience of delirium. I gained so much. Going all in for delirium (thanks @amaclullich.bsky.social). We have come so far, more to do.
At our event in GM only a couple of colleagues from memory clinics. Information on delirium should helpfully be part of post diagnostic support for people with dementia.
#Delirium is very common in people who are the end of life.
Yet it is still underdiagnosed, and unfortunately this often means unnecessary distress for patients and their families.
